  Notes	Glenvil resident Kay M. Pavelka, 48, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at her home. Rosary is 7 p.m. Thursday, December 6, at Butler Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Friday, December 7, at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Hastings with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Memorials may be given to St. Cecilia Health Ministry. Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Thursday with family greeting relatives and friends 5:30-7 p.m. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church. Kay was born August 28, 1970, in Friend, NE to Richard & Donna (Dolnicek) Krupicka. She graduated from Milligan High School and received her Associates Degree in accounting from Central Community College in Hastings and computer office skills from Lincoln School of Commerce. She married Ron Pavelka on September 8, 1990, in Milligan, NE. Kay worked as an office manager/administrative assistant for attorney Steve Scherr, Midwest Ear Nose & Throat, and Homestead Assisted Living. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and Altar Society. Kay volunteered for Hastings Chamber of Commerce events and many other events in the community.
