  	Cass City Chronicle Friday, March 9, 1945 Page One Mary Jansky Engaged to Irvine Striffler Miss Mary Adelaide Jansky, and Irvine A. Striffler, son of Mr. and Mrs. G.A. Striffler, of Cass City, are planning an April wedding, according to the announcement which her parents, Prof. and Mrs. C.M. Jansky, 2117 Jefferson street, Madison, Wisconsin, made recently. Miss Jansky was graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a master's degree in bacteriology. She was affiliated with Phi Upsilon Omicron, Phi Kappa Phi, and Sigma Delta Epsilon fraternities. She is now chief bacteriologist for the control laboratory of Nestle's Milk Products, Inc. of New York, located in Marysville, O. Mr. Striffler, chief chemist for the same company, received his degree in chemistry from Michigan State college where he was elected to Phi Kappa Phi honor fraternity. Issues on file at the Rawson Memorial Library in Cass City, Michigan include Vol. 5 (1941), Vol. 7 (1944) and Volumes 8 (1945) through Vol. 28 (1968). Issues published from 1961 through 1964 were not assigned volume numbers, and 1963 appears to be missing. Xeroxes of the existing issues were also made by Melinda McLemore Strong in 2007.
