  Notes	According to Wyneman McGrew, Laura had a tumultous life, and was married at least twice. She had several children, and some of them died young. One daughter, Neva (later called Keary) Carr, was raised by her ex-husband, Charlie Carr and her younger sister, Fannie. Laura spent the last 30 years of her life at the Mississippi State Hospital, and died of Dementia Praecox.
