  Notes	The son of Richard GRANTHAM and Lydia Jane BARLOW. At the time of the 1900 Rankin County, Mississippi census, he lived next door to a younger Jo??? Grantham, presumably his eldest son. Said to have died but there is contradictory information about the date of his death. The Louisiana Statewide death index lists a John Grantham, died 21 Jan 1934 in Sabine Parish, at the age of 86 (therefore born ca 1848). Certificate #0-908 Volume 3. The FindAGrave listing for J G Grantham instead shows his dates as 1847-1933. He is linked to daughter, Bama Grantham Martin, and is listed as a son of Richard Grantham III and Lydia Jane Barlow. His is buried at the Zions Rest Cemetery in De Soto Parish.
