She was born Dec. 29, 1929, in Houston, and had lived in Pineland all of her life. She worked in sales in the Temple Inland Drygoods before her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Kilcrease and one son, Kenneth Kilcrease, Sr. Survivors: Daughters Cathy Birdwell and husband, Mark of Pineland, sons, Larry Kilcrease and wife, Patsy, Greg Kilcrease and wife, Frances, all of Pineland, and Jerald Kilcrease and wife Susan of Huntsville; brother, Butch Buckley and wife, Linda of Houston; nine grandchidren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 23 in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel, Hemphill. Interment followed at Pineland Cemetery. (Transcribed by Melinda McLemore Strong, Fall 2007)
