  Notes	Volume 14 of the STRIFFLER-BENKELMAN BROADCAST, dated September 3, 1951, reported that Jessie graduated from Cass City High School. She was planning to attend the University of Michigan in the fall after receiving a Regents Alumni Scholarship. The STRIFFLER-BENKELMAN BROADCAST, Volume 15, September 1, 1952, noted that she spent some time in New York with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Gramespacher of San Luis Obispo, California prior to their trip to Germany to see Mrs. Gramespacher's mother. As of the September, 1956 publication of Volume 19, it was reported that Jessie was a June graduate of Wayne State University, and would teach the sixth grade in Lynchburg, Virginia in the Fall. The September 7, 1963 issue of the STRIFFLER-BENKELMAN BROADCAST (Vol. 23), reported that she had received her Masters Degree in Education at Wayne State and would assume the position of Counselor in the Ferndale Junior High in the fall. In her mother's 1970 obituary, she was listed as Jessica Berriman of Ferndale. She was listed as Jessie Berriman on the SSDI, with her last benefit address shown as Troy, Oakland County, Michigan.

Friday, November 7, 1930 Striffler-Fry A pretty wedding will be solemnized Saturday, Nov. 8, when Miss Wilma Striffler of San Luis Obispo, California, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Striffler of this place, will become the bride of Robert E. Fry, also of San Luis Obispo. The wedding will take place in their new home which has been furnished in the early American type of furniture. Ten young people, friends of the couple, will be present at the ceremony which will be read by Rev. Hart, pastor of the Presbyterian church of San Luis Obispo. The bride will be attired in eggshell satin and lace with slippers to match. A turkey dinner will be served after which Mr. and Mrs. Fry will leave to spend several days at Santa Barbara and will then be at home at 529 Sandercock St., San Luis Obispo. Mrs. Fry was a graduate of Cass City High School with the Class of 1923 and has been in California since that time except for about two years when she returned to visit here.
