  Notes	San Augustine Tribune Thursday, June 25, 2009, Page 8 Vilas "Boog" Wood Funeral services for Vilas "Boog" Wood, 74, of San Augustine, will be held at 10:00 a.m., today, June 25, 2009 at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Memorial Garden in San Ausgustine in San Augustine with Bro. Buddy Pratt and Bro. Bob Gwinn officiating. He died in San Augustine on June 2, 2009. Vilas "Boog" Wood was born in Hemphill on January 29, 1935 to Luther Wood and Eula Felts. He is a retired mechanic for Tyson Food, he worked there for 50 years. He served in the U. S. Army and was a member of the Liberty Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Lynda Wood of San Augustine; sons, Ricky Wood and wife Connie of Humble and Greg Wood and wife Felica of San Augustine; daughters, Shelley Dailey and husband Richard and Rebecca Wood Whitton, all of San Augustine; eight grandchildren; brother Mike Wood of Hemphill and sister Lexie "Sis" McCarter of Tyler. Condolences can be offered at Wyman Roberts website. Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine was in charge of the arrangements.
