Larry Crocker writes that "The 1947 Beaumont, Jefferson County City Directory shows Elmo L. and Frances living at 2065 Lawrence Way and him working as a salesman for the Dr. Pepper Bottling Company. My Uncle was always called Reeves by family and friends and we called him uncle Reeves instead of uncle Elmo. The 1960 City Directory shows my Uncle Reeves as a salesman for Jax Beer Company and living at 4469 El Paso."
