      Hazel Clark

      Hazel Boone Clark, 83, of Hemphill died at 12:38 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, 2003, at Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill.

      Mrs. Clark was born Sept. 23, 1920, in Negreet, Louisiana, as a daughter of the late Bessie Elizabeth (Ritter) and John Henry Boone and had lived in Sabine County for 65 years. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist Church.

      Survivors: a daughter, Charlene Ellis of Shreveport, Louisiana; grandchildren, Pam Click and Andy Ellis and wife Angela, all fo Houston, and Abe Covello and Linda Kloss; great-grandchildren, Heather Perimon, Shonda Mason, Ariel Ellis and Austin Ellis; sister and brother-in-law, Maurene and O. B. Stark of Hemphill; and sisters-in-law Audie Armstrong and Gladys Booth (???), both of Hemphill, and Isa Clark of Burkeville.

      Funeral services are set for 2 p.m today (Wednesday) at the chapel of Starr Funeral Home with Paul Navarre officiating. Interment will follow at Harper's Chapel Cemetery in Sabine County.
