Mr. and Mrs. Lee Clark
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Clark of the Sabinetown community, will be honored Sunday, April 14, with an open house at their home.
Hostesses will be their five children and sons-in-law and daughter-in-law, which include Mr. and Mrs. Lathern Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Bebe Clark, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Boone, all of Hemphill, Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Clark of Burkeville, and Mrs. Audie Armstrong of Odessa.
Mrs. Clark was the former Annie Pressley of Bellwood, La., in Natchitoches Parish, and she and Mr. Clark, a native of Fairmount, in Sabine County, were married on Apirl 13, 1913. They have 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
They have lived in Sabine County since they were married, except for 6 years in La. and 3 years in Anderson County, Texas. When they moved to Anderson County, it was by covered wagon. There were five small children and the trip took eight days, during which time they camped at night.
