Graveside Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2017, in the Chinquapin Cemetery in San Augustine County, Texas. Officiating will be Bro. Floyd Wright. "Donkey" was born to Thelma and Neal McDaniel on September 26, 1946, in Rusk County, Texas. He was employed as a Roofer in Construction Installation, and was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by, his wife, Patricia McDaniel of Chesapeake, Virginia; Sons, Richard McDaniel of Broaddus; John McDaniel and his wife, Jennifer of Bronson and Robert McDaniel and his wife, Carie of Chesapeake, Virginia. His beloved grandchildren, Andrew McDaniel, Robbie McDaniel, Justin McDaniel, Bailey McDaniel, Kurstee Roe, Dimitri Wilke and Zackary Wilke; his beloved great-grandchildren, Oddie, Ciara, Colby, Emily, Derek, and Azlynn. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Neal and Thelma McDaniel; Brother, Daniel McDaniel and Sister, Eunice Jacks.
