  Notes	She was delivered by Dr. Nicholas WALLACE Jr. (see Petty House) and named for his mother. (The Lure and Lore of Limestone County, p. 147). Carl Alvis McLemore of Athens writes that his grandmother Ada was born on the Gordon homeplace on December 31, 1904, at 10 minutes before midnight. Her sister Bertha Gordon Parker, deceased, kidded her and said she was born in 1905, Ada replied that she was born in 1904 before midnight. She was called "Momma Mac" by her family.
