- Ona Lee Felts, 77, of Hemphill, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Memorial Hospital in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Ona was born in Geneva, Texas on October 13, 1942 to Charles Bradford Counts and Elsie Lillian Anders. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and she dearly loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ronnie Felts of Hemphill, Texas; sons, Richard Felts and wife, Krissy, of Hemphill, Texas; daughter, Maria Angela Wood and husband, James, of Hemphill, Texas; sister Crista Gibbs of Geneva, Texas; grandchildren, Bradford Davis Felts of Hemphill, Texas, Tony Wood and wife, Amanda, of Pineland, Texas, Crystal Dubose and husband, Matt, of Newton, Texas, Justin Wood and wife, Ashley, of Hemphill, Texas, Joshua Felts and wife, Rebecca, of Hemphill, Texas, Micah Wood and wife, Regan, of Nacogdoches, Texas, Andrew Wood of Lake Charles, Lee Fowler and wife, Ashley, of Milam, Texas, Amber Lewis and husband, Willie, of Jasper, Texas, Brandon Smith, Hailley Byrd and husband, Korey, Alissa Craig, Summer Craig, Chanda Pattillo and husband, Drew, of Rosevine; great- grandchildren, Dhalton, Aubrie, Bryan, Cecily, Garet, Dylan, Averiann, Austin, Zach, Easton, Cason, Rowdy, Blake, Ashtynn, Chace, Eli, Clara, Justis, Brayden, Kane, Carmen, Jermiah, Gus, Katie, Haylee, and Carson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rebecca Felts; and granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Felts.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2020 at Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas.
Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas with Bro. Buddy Pratt officiating.
Burial will follow in Harpers Chapel Cemetery in Hemphill, Texas with Tony Wood, Justin Wood, Joshua Felts, Micah Wood, Lee Fowler, Andrew Wood, and Brad Felts serving as pallbearers. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be her great grandchildren.
