    • Arvin Eugene Easley, 84, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Friday, April 24, 2020 at his residence.

      Arvin was born October 22, 1935 in Sabine County, Texas to Thomas Sherdon Easley and Callie Mae Harley. After serving in the U.S. Army, Arvin went on to earn two bachelor degrees before deciding to pursue a job in construction. He was hard working and a loving father.

      He is survived by his loving wife, Jean Easley of Hemphill; daughters, Sheeta Gaspard and husband, David of Hemphill, Sheela Bennet and husband, Thomas of Hemphill, and Misty Haynes of Hemphill; brothers, Don Easley and wife Sandra of Hemphill, and James Easley and wife, Natasha of Houston; sisters, Johnnie Godsey of San Augustine, Jimmie Hipler and husband, Clinton Earl of Pineland, Martha Griffin and husband, Jerry of Hemphill, and Dianne Short of Pineland; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Callie Mae Easley; daughter, Sheena Easley; grandchildren, Ron Procell, Rustie Procell, and Skyler Procell; and his granddaughter in law, Chelsie Procell.

      Graveside Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2020 at Lone Oak Cemetery in Hemphill, Texas with Bro. Floyd Wright officiating.
