  Notes	Rosa was interviewed by a grandson in 1941, and her detailed description of the family makeup was the starting point for much of the subsequent genealogical research done regarding the Keeton Jones McLemore family. She loved to fish, a trait she passed on to her granddaughter, Barbara Nixon. In 1944, a few years after her husband's death, Rosa was living at 8005 Grafton Street in Houston. In a November, 1954 letter to his niece, Pleasant informs her that his sister Rosa had recently been diagnosed with "cancer on (her) lower intestine", a fact that her sons knew but did not want their mother informed of.   Dunkerley, Walter and Rosa with children Ruth and Russell ca 1890's Walter Dunkerley was born in England, and worked as a proofreader for the Houston Post. His wife, Rosa, was the fifteenth child born to Keton Jones McLemore--his youngest daughter. It is ASSUMED that this picture of Walter and Rosa was taken with their two eldest children, Ruth and Russell. The children might instead be Russell and Inez, as Ruth appears to have died young.
