      Willie Lee McDaniel

      Willie Lee McDaniel, 85, of Kirbyville, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002 at a Jasper Hospital. He was a native of Hemphill and had lived in Kirbyville for 57 years. McDaniel, a World War II veteran of the Army Signal Corps, was a retired merchant and painting contractor. Survivors: wife, Jean McDaniel of Kirbyville; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Leonard HORN of Jasper, Diane KOLE of Houston, and Kathy and Jimmy DAWSON of Tyler; brothers, J.D. McDaniel of Jasper and Carroll McDaniel of Kirbyville; sisters Trudy FORSE of Sealy, and Bertha STUTTS and Louise MUSSELWHITE, both of Kirbyville; a sister-in-law, Eulene PROCELL and husband Eugene of Hemphill; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Dec. 29 at Central Baptist Church in Kirbyville. Interment followed at Kirbyville Cemetery. E.E. Stringer Funeral Home, Kirbyville, directors.
