    • Jean McDaniel, age 91 of Kirbyville, Texas passed away Friday, October 16, 2015 at Avalon Place in Kirbyville.

      Funeral services will be 2pm Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville.

      Burial at Kirbyville Cemetery.

      Born November 23, 1923 in the Fairdale community in Sabine County, she had lived in Kirbyville since 1945 where she and her husband operated a dairy, then a General Store and later became a Real Estate agent. She also served on the Kirbyville City Council.

      She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie McDaniel.

      Survivors include her children, Mary Horn and Leonard of Jasper, Diann Kole of Houston and Kathy Dawson of Tyler, Texas, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
