The Sabine Index - 17 July 1986 Many, Sabine Parish, Louisiana Mrs. Nellie Scarborough, 77, of Robeline, died at Mesquite Community Hospital in Mesquite, Tex., on July 11, 1986, at 1:40 p.m. Funeral services were held at Central Baptist Church, on July 13, 1986, at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Jerry Arthur, and Rev. Leroy James officiating. Burial was in the Central Baptist Church Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. She is survived by one son, Walter (Doug) Scarborough of San Antonio, Tex.; one daughter, Mary Moore of Royse City, Tex.; one brother, Howard McComic of Fort Jesup; and one sister, Mary Banks of Crossett, Ark.; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
