Burial followed at the Plainview Cemetery with Bro. Wayne Alford and Bro. Vance Burtell officiating. She died Sunday at the Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill. Johnnie May Byley King was born in San Augustine on March 22, 1929 to Edgar A. BYLEY and Ella TOWNSEND Byley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Brookeland Missionary Church. She is survived by her husband, Weldon King of Plainview; daughters, Ernesteen SMITH and husband, Kenneth of Pineland, Christy WILLIAMS and husband, Van of Bronson, and Tricia CONN and husband, Billy of Yellowpine; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill was in charge of arrangements.
