    • At the time of the 1920 Federal Census brothers Roy and Leo were boarders at a hotel run by Frank and Mary Morrison on Browndell Road in Jasper County, Texas. Roy was 18, and Leo 16, both single, and both employed as laborers at a saw mill, as were most the other boarders.

      His death certificate, shows him as the son of Dan Chance and Nancy Currie. The informant was his widow, Jewel.
