  Notes	In the process of executing her husband's will, Faith Macklemore made a distribtuion of one pound of current money to Thomas CLIFTON, the neighbor of John Macklemore, but who was not mentioned in John Sr.'s will. This distribution was actually on the behalf of their daughter Sarah Macklemore. The distribution of her bequest to Clifton indicates that he was her husband, since a married woman in that age had little in the way of property rights, and her husband had the right to receive, hold and dispose of her property. (James L. McLemore, III, p. 58). Eldon and Ann McLemore of Derby, Kansas, also show she married a CLIFTON.
