  Notes	The following obituary was excerpted from the 24 September 1970 SABINE COUNTY REPORTER HEMPHILL, TEXAS LOCAL WOMAN's FUNERAL HELD Funeral services for Mrs. Mellie Mary McLemore of Hemphill were held Thursday in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel in Hemphill. The Rev. Jim Turner, pastor of Hemphill First Baptist Church officiated. Burial will be in the Gravel Hill Cemetery in Sabine County. Pallbearers included nephews Earl McLemore, Donald McLemore, Paul McLemore, Guy Hughes, Max Cammack and Jerry Van Valkenburg. Mrs. McLemore died Wednesday at the ??? Manor Nursing Home of Hemphill. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. H.B. Cammack of Hemphill and Mrs. Elvie Speights. (Courtesy of Kay Parker McCary)
