- Kenneth Carpenter, of Woodward, Oklahoma, was the winner of the Bankers Scholarship, Group II in 1916. He raised a litter of pigs at a profit of $346. When he registered for the draft during the First World War, he was a resident of Woodward, and working for the First National Bank of Woodward. His nearest relative was his father, John I. Carpenter, also of Woodward. He was shown as Tall, slender, and had blue eyes and black hair. His registration was completed on September 12, 1918.
He had been married and divorced prior to his marriage to Josephine in 1956. He was a route salesman based in Woodward.
