      Mary Sibley Greer

      Mary Sibley Greer, 85, of Pt. Acres died Tuesday, Jun 17, 1997, at a Pt. Arthur convalescent center.

      She was a native of Sabine County and had lived in the Orange-Pt. Acres area several years.

      Survivors: sons, Joe Greer and Sibley Greer, both of Pt. Acres, and Sidney Greer of LaBelle; a daughter, Dorothy HOOKER of Splendora, ten grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

      Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Pat A. Riley Funeral Home's chapel in Nederland. Interment was at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Jefferson county.
