His nearest relative was Mrs. Lulu McGree of Mount Pleasant. Lula McGee, shown as his mother, was living with his family at the time of the 1930 census. His Texas Death certificate shows his parents as W. J. McGee and Loulou Hargrove, and that his wife at the time of his death was named Ruth. His usual occupation was Railroad Dispatcher.
