    • When he completed his draft registration card for World War I, he was shown as a resident of Mount Pleasant, Texas. This was in September 1918. He was shown as 20 years old, white, native born, of medium heighth and build, and had brown eyes and hair. His occupation was that of a Telegraph operator, employed by Frisco of Tulsa, Oklahoma. His nearest relative was Mrs. Lulu McGree of Mount Pleasant. Lula McGee, shown as his mother, was living with his family at the time of the 1930 census.
