Obituary Steve McClelland, 67, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Friday, November 22, 2019 at a Lufkin Hospital. Steve was born April 21, 1952 in San Antonio, Texas at the Lackland Air Force Base Hospital to Easul and Florence (Jacks) McClelland. He was a graduate of Hemphill High School and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He worked as a computer programmer in the petroleum industry where he retired after many years. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Brockman McClelland of Hemphill (formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter, Melodie Rose of Nevada; sons, Stephen Barrett (Barry) McClelland and wife, Ashley, of California and Ben Mullins of North Dakota mother, Florence McClelland of Hemphill; brother, Forrest McClelland and wife, Lynn, of Six Mile Community; sister, Sonya Strickland and husband, Mike, of Hemphill [?the Texas Birth Index instead shows Sonya Strickland as a cousin, a daughter of Earle Gwendolyn JACKS and Marcy Elvin COLLINS?]; grandchildren, Eden McClelland, Hannah Rose, Kai Stevenson, Faith Mullins, Ethan Mullins, and Wyatt Mullins; and several step-children, nieces, and nephews.
