      Lexie Olivia Clark

      Lexie Olivia Clark, 91, of Hemphill died at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, at Colonial Pines Healthcare Center in San Augustine. Mrs. Clark was born Nov. 5, 1912, in Fairmount as a daughter of the late Julie Emma (Edgar) and Daniel Edward McNaughten and had been a lifelong resident of the area. A homemaker, she was a member of the East Mayfield Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Terrell and Rose Clark of Hemphill; daughters, Carolyn WOMACK of Hemphill and Oweda BOYD of Nacogdoches; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Oct. 11 at the chapel of Starr Funeral Home Inc. in Hemphill with Bro. Jim Crump officiating. Interment followed at Fairmount Cemetery in Fairmount.
