  Notes	The Sabine County Reporter December 10, 1997. page 12 Lincoln M. Powell, 66, of Brookeland, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 1997, at his residence. Powell, a native of Brookeland, had lived in Nederland several years before returning to Brookeland area eight years ago. He was a member of OCAW #4-228 in Pt. Neches and the Masonic Lodge. Survivors: wife, Juanell Powellof Brookeland, a son, Randall Powell of Nederland, a daughter, Sandra Franks of Houston; brothers, Hollis Powell of Pineland, Wilburn Powell of Bronson, and Harvey Powell of Livingston; sisters, Madie Roberts of Browndale and Viola Ellis of Brookeland; grandchildren, Angelia Choalte and Eric Ramize; and a great-grandson, Mason Choalte. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec, 5, at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home --- Jasper Chapel. Interment followed at Brookeland Cemetery in Brookeland, Sabine County.
