  Notes	The Sabine County Reporter January 11, 1995, Page 10 Thomas Cobb Funeral services for Thomas Cobb, 76, of Route 1, Pineland, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, 1994, at the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home in Groves with Pastor David Logan officiating. Interment followed at Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery. He died Thursday, Dec. 29, 1994, in Beaumont. Born April 18, 1918, Cobb had resided off FM 83 between Pineland and Hemphill several years and was a former resident of Jefferson County. He was a retired industrial painter with Local Painter's Union #2013, A U.S. Merchant Marines veteran, and a member of the East Mayfield Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth White Pratt Cobb on Dec. 30, 1993. Survivors: step-daughter, Carolyn Murphy of Beaumont; step-sons Woodrow Pratt Jr. of Beaumont and Joseph Pratt of Friendswood; six grandchildren; and a brother, Houston Cobb of Engleside, Texas.
