  Notes	\\According to the book "Sabine County Marriages 1875-1900 1900-1910 Prior to 1875" by Blanche Toole, "Gooch, C.P. (married) R.J. Harper 3 July 1888 by M. Youngblood. Based on the following census records, it appears she was born in approximately 1868, and would have been about 20 years old when she married. Roxie appears to be the daughter of James Robert Harper and Delia Rice, both of whom were born in Mississippi. At the time of the 1880 Sabine County census, they had a 12 year old daughter named Jane. There are no other Harper families in Sabine county with a daughter of that age.
