  Notes	SSDI: LILLIE TOMASEK 27 Oct 1893 Sep 1983 68649 (North Bend, Dodge, NE ) (none specified) 506-86-1180 Nebraska Leonard Tomasek reported to Charles Strong that his mother discovered that the date of birth shown on her delayed birth certificate was not correct. She therefore took her son Leland's birthdate and used it as her own as well. Her obituary is transcribed below: Lillie Tomasek buried Sept. 15 The funeral was held last Thursday for Lillie Tomasek, 89, of North Bend at the Methodist Church, North Bend, with Rev. Gary Main officiating. Mrs. Tomasek died at the Senior Citizens Nursing Home, Schuyler. She was a member of the Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge of North Bend. She married John Tomasek on March 5, 1913 in Fremont. Survivors include two sons, Leonard and Leland, both of North Bend; one daughter, Mrs. Caroline Mastny, Schuyler; six grandchildren; five great granchildren; one brother Adolph Beznoska, Lawton, Okla., and one sister Mrs. Millie Arthur, Fremont. Burial was in Killian Cemetery, west of Morse Bluff. Moser Memorial Chapel, North Bend, was in charge of the arrangements. (Undated, unreferenced news clipping courtesy of Caroline Mastny)

  	Honored on Golden Wedding Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. John Tomasek Jr. celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, March 5 at their home, with a dinner for relatives and a party in the evening for neighbors and friends. The couple was married March 5, 1913 in Fremont. Their attendants were Miss Anna Soukup of Cedar Bluffs and the late brother of the bride, Louis Beznoska. They moved to a farm northwest of North Bend were they are still living. Mrs. and Mrs. Tomasek have three children: a daughter, Mrs. Louis Mastny of Schuyler, and two sons, Leonard and Leland of North Bend. They have four grandchildren, Richard, Randy, Vicki Jean and Jeannie Lynn. Couple celebrate 65th Mr. and Mrs. John Tomasek celebrated their Wedding Anniversary Sunday with a dinner in the home of their son, Mrs. and Mrs. Leland Tomasek and family. Also hosting the event were the couples other children, Mrs. and Mrs. Louis (Caroline) Mastny of Schuyler, and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Tomasek. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Tomasek, V??? Tomasek, Jeannie, Gary and Steven Tomasek, A?? Kucera, Millie Arthur, Raymond Beznoska, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Beznoska, Leah and Frank. Afternoon guests were Mrs. and Mrs. Emil Ruzicka, Mrs. Hilda Warner, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Ruzicka, daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ruzicka and family and Mrs. Gene Ruzicka and family, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Villwok and Mark of Craig. Mr. and Mrs. John Tomasek were married May 5, 1913 at Fremont. She is the former Lillie Beznoska of Cedar Bluffs. They have spent their married live farming in the North Bend area.   Datel, Joseph and Anna (Sukova) Family Gathering in Celebration of their Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary, 1905 Anita Savery sent this resized it and cropped copy of the original photo of Joseph and Anna Datel's Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary. She received her copy from a Matejka and a Soukup. Joseph and Anna are seated in the middle. The adult children are seated. Adult spouses and grandchildren are standing. Younger grandchildren are seated on the ground. Left to right seated are: Frank B. Datel holding his daughter Mabel, Caroline (Datel) Beznoska holding her son James, UNKNOWN, Joseph Sr. and wife Anna, Thomas Datel, Rosalie (Datel) Soukup, UNKNOWN, UNKNOWN. She thinks the two girls standing on the right are Anna Soukup and Lillie Beznoska. Joseph F. Datel (son of Anton) is standing fourth from the left. The handsome young man to his left looks like Frank Beznoska III, The tall man behind Joseph Datel, Sr. is James Ruzicka with his wife Anna Beznoska to his left. Lillian Bartosh Datel is standing behind Frank B. and to her left is Frank Beznoska II who married Caroline. Spouses are standing behind the three ladies on the right. Behind Rosalie is Anton Soukup, it appears, but is not known with certainty, that next to Rosalie is Emma Howe with spouse behind her, (or maybe instead Elizabeth Bloch) and Mary Ann (Datel) Matejka with spouse, John Henry Matejka, behind her. Thomas Datel's wife Mary Krofta IS NOT in the photo and his two sons may or may not be the two boys on the ground on the far left. Anton and James Datel were also not pictured.
