Graveside Service for Joe Beznoska Joe Beznoska, 89, longtime resident of the northern part of Cotton County, died in Lawton, Friday, July 27. Graveside services were conducted at Walters Cemetery at 2 o'clock Tuesday, July 31, with Don Crow officiating. Wyatt Funeral Home was in charge of burial in Walters Cemetery. Joe Beznoska was born September 28, 1889 at Morse Bluffs, Nebraska. He was united in marriage with Irene Stewart on August 15, 1917 at Walters. He had been a resident of Cotton county for more than 60 years. He was involved in a farming operation unitl his retirement in 1956. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of "Arraks No. 1168," composed of World War II veterans. Survivors include his wife, Irene, of the home; one son Melvin Beznoska of Lawton; one daughter Mrs. Jolene Marco of Duncan. Also one brother, Adolph Beznoska of Lawton; four sisters, Albie Kucera, Lillie Tomasek, Millie Arthur and Agnes Muckendorf, all of North Bend, Nebraska, three grandchildren, one step grandchild, and other relatives.
