  Notes	Obituary Hastings resident, Shirley J. Hinrichs, 72, of 608 South Chicago, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at her home. Services will be Tuesday, July 15, 2008; 1:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Harold D. Stromer officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Churchyard Cemetery, west of Glenvil, Nebraska. Livingston-Butler-Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Sunday, July 13, 2008; 1:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M., Monday, July 14, 2008; 9:00 A.M.-9:00 P.M. and Tuesday, 9:00 A.M. until service time. Memorials may be given to the family. Mrs. Hinrichs was born June 14, 1936 in Geneva, Nebraska to William & Georgia (Doupnik) Soukup. She graduated from Geneva High School and married Marvin J. Hinrichs on April 1, 1956. He preceded her in death on September 13, 1989. She was a life long area resident and a housekeeper at the nurse's dorm and later at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.
