For a time she worked with the Camp Fire Girls, and at present she is a well-known garden club lecturer, and an expert on Ikebana flower arrangements, which she studied in Japan. She helps with flower show exhibits at Texas State Fairs, table arrangements being a speciality, and is often a Judge of Arrangements at flower shows. (White and Toole, p 28).
