  Notes	John Buchholz, Lifelong Area Resident, Dies John Buchholz, 88, a resident of this area all his life, died at 3:40 AM Tuesday at Sturgis Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since last Friday night. He had been in ill health for the last two years. The prominently known Burr Oak Township farmer was born near Sturgis, Michigan Nov. 1, 1866, a son of August and Mary (Kasdorf) Buchholz. He was married to Augusta Jesse Sept. 30, 1896 at her home in Sherman Township. Mr. Buchholz was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. Surviving besides his wife at home is a son, Carl, and daughter, Mrs. John (Nina) Falkenstein, both of Sturgis, and a sister Mrs. Emma Meyers of Burr Oak, and four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Fogelsong Funeral Home until 10 am Thursday. Following that hour the body will lie in state at Trinity Lutheran Church where rites will be held at 2 pm Thursday with the Rev. Leland Lochhaas officiating. Burial services will take place at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
