    • Frank Crnkovic, born Aug. 16, 1926, was a resident of Shreveport. He died on March 2, 2012, at the age of 85 after a brief illness, Frank passed away peacefully at Willis Knighton South Hospital. He was retired from Kansas City Southern Railroad after 40 years of dedicated service.

      Frank was one of 10 children born in Zwolle to the late Ed and Frazine Ebarb Crnkovic and was the beloved husband of Hellen (Lois) Paudert Crnkovic for over 62 years.

      Frank was preceded in death by siblings Steve, Joe, Johnny and Helen Byers.

      He will forever be remembered by his devoted siblings Pete, Mickey, Josephine Jones, Lois Sava and Donald; beloved children, Duane Crnkovic, Elizabeth Ann Goelden and Marsha Everett; treasured grandchildren, Frank Johnson, Rodney Crnkovic, Dara Martin, Christina Copeland and Justin Goelden; great-grandchildren, Krystal and Hailey Martin; along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. Frank touched the lives of many people with his love and generosity.

      Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 7 at 10 a.m. at Saint Mary of the Pines Catholic Church at 1050 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop in Shreveport.

      The Crnkovic family expresses gratitude to their beloved family and friends that have been so supportive during this difficult time.
