  • Notes  Married:
    • Casagranda writes that she and her second husband William Edmundson were sued in 1870 by Nathan Cook, a brother of her late husband, William Cook. They had been appointed as tutors of her minor daughter, Mollie. However, she was disqualified for "immoral and lewd proprieties....guilty of acts of Adultry whilst married to her said husband Edmundson and has at this time abandoned the bead of board of her said husband and gone to unknown parts with one Cole." Mary and Chapley Cole lived for a while in Sabine County, Texas, but later returned to Sabine Parish where they both died.
