      Bonnie Mark Weds Richard Dill Saturday

      Miss Bonnie Mark, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mark of Cass City, became the bride of of Richard Dill, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dill, of 3999 Devonshire, Grosse Pointe, in a ceremony performed at 2:30 p. m. Saturday, June 21, in Grosse Pointe Woods Presbyterian Church. Rev. Richard Williams, pastor of St. James Presbyterian Church, officiated.

      Members of the immediate families and friends of the bride were seated by James Mark, brother of the bride, and Peter Marty of Bridgeport, Ohio, friend of the groom. Baskets of white peonies decorated the church.

      The bride, give in marriage by her father, chose a ballerina length gown of champagne nylon net. her flowers were a nosegay of white daises and her headpiece was also daises.

      Her only attendant was her sister, Mrs. Ruth Wurtsmith of Grosse Pointe Woods, with whom she had been living. Mrs. Wurtsmith's gown was of shrimp
      colored nylon net. Her nosegay and headpiece were of blue daisies.

      Robert Dill of Detroit performed the duties of best man for his brother.

      Mrs. Mark wore for the wedding, a navy blue dress with pink accessories. The groom's mother wore dusty pink with white accessories. Both mothers wore an
      orchid corsage.

      A reception in the home of Mrs. Wurtsmith, at 1561 Roslyn, Grosse Pointe Woods, followed the ceremony. A circle of gardenias and daisies surrounded the wedding cake, a creation of the bride's sister, Mrs. Wm. Martus.

      Mrs. Dill was wearing a navy and white linen suite and a corsage of red roses when they left on their two weeks' wedding trip to Yellowstone National Park.

      They will make their home at 1561 Roslyn, Grosse Pointe Woods.

      The bride is a registered nurse, graduating with the class of 1948, from Providence Hospital. Mr. Dill received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan in 1950.

      Relatives of the bride who attended the wedding were Mrs. and Mrs. Archie Mark of Vassar, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mark, Mr. and Mrs. Mw. Martus and family, Mr. and Mrs. James Mark, Mrs. Russell Leeson, Jane Lee Mark and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Kehoe.

According to a article published by the Cass City Chronicle on August 6, 1981, commemorating the Fiftieth and Final Striffler-Benkelman Reunion, the final issue of the STRIFFLER-BENKELMAN BROADCAST appears to have been Volume 28, published in 1968.), Volume 15, September 1, 1952.
