Hezekiah Bell

Notes:

Don Seller's shows Hezekiah as serving in the Revolutionary War in North Carolina circa 1781. Jerome Tew also notes that Hezekiah was a Revolutionary soldier for a period of around 3 months. Tew also notes that Hezekiah and Martha had about five children. He is said to be the son of George Bell.

Hezekiah married Martha Baggett on 10 Dec 1778 in Duplin County, North Carolina. Martha was born about 1760 in Duplin County, North Carolina; died about 1836 in Decatur County, Georgia. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

2. Perthenia Bell was born about 1785 in Duplin County, North Carolina; was christened on 12 Sep 1835 in Bethlehem Primative Baptist Church, Quitman, Brooks County, Georgia; died about 1847 in Lowndes County, Georgia.
3. John Bell was born about 1790 in Duplin County, North Carolina; died before 1850.
4. Duncan Bell was born about 1795 in Duplin County, North Carolina; died about 1861 in Florida.
5. Elizabeth Bell was born before 1803 in Duplin County, North Carolina; died on 5 May 1838 in Decatur County, Georgia.
