As new evidence is unfolding, it seems that Elizabeth and Duncan took care of Martha (her mother) in her last days. It is not known when or where Martha died. However, it is assumed she was living with Duncan and Elizabeth in Decatuar County, Georgia in the 1830's.

Elizabeth married Duncan Morgan on 15 Feb 1826 in Duplin County, North Carolina. Duncan (son of Rueben Morgan and Dorcus Newton) was born on 8 Jun 1806 in Sampson County, North Carolina; died on 26 May 1881 in Magnolia Springs, Jasper County, Texas; was buried in Morgan Cemetery, Jasper County, Texas. They were married by Jn. Hufhan, Jos. Persall, Clk as witness.

1. William Ivan Morgan was born on 10 Dec 1828 in Sampson County, North Carolina; died before 1866 in Magnolia Springs, Jasper County, Texas.
2. Elizabeth Morgan was born on 5 May 1838 in Decatur County, Georgia; and died.

Notes:

Don Seller's shows Hezekiah as serving in the Revolutionary War in North Carolina circa 1781. Jerome Tew also notes that Hezekiah was a Revolutionary soldier for a period of around 3 months. Tew also notes that Hezekiah and Martha had about five children. He is said to be the son of George Bell.

Hezekiah married Martha Baggett on 10 Dec 1778 in Duplin County, North Carolina. Martha was born about 1760 in Duplin County, North Carolina; died about 1836 in Decatur County, Georgia. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Said to be the daughter of Abraham Baggett of Northampton County, NC.

BAGGETT, Abraham, Private, Drummer on NC Line.
Soldier was the born about 1725 in Northampton Co. NC to Nicholas and
Mary Baggett. Soldier was paid 5.8 pounds for his service. Soldier
married Elizabeth __ in Bertie and moved to Duplin Co. NC about 1770.
One daughter Martha Baggett is identified and she married Hezekiah
Bell. RS John Baggett, born about 1765 in thought to be his son.
Soldier died c1785 and wife Elizabeth is listed in the 1790 Census for
Sampson Co. NC. It is possible that the soldier listed was Abraham
Baggett Jr. Silas Baggett who moved to AL is also listed as a son of
Abraham Baggett.
