Rosalie Anna Mae Cecile Leze Anderson, 93, of Hemphill died Sunday, April 9, 2006, at Hemphill Care Center. She was born June 16, 1912, in Plattenville, Louisiana, as a daughter of the late John Baptiste Leze and Marie (Loftus) Leze. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Many, Louisiana, however, a short time ago, she became a member of Fisher Baptist Church in Fisher, Louisiana. Rosalie graduated from Hemphill High School in 1931. On Dec. 30, 1933, she married Simon Elton "Pete" Anderson. They were married 72 years before Pete died on Feb. 28, 2006. Rosa could not accept his death. She thought that he was missing and kept watching each day for him to come back to her. So once again they are together. Rosalie was a wonderful wife, a great daughter, aunt and she was loved by every member of the Anderson family. She is survived by nieces and nephews, her sister-in-law, Vermell BRUST and her husband, Louis BRUST of Hemphill; and a brother-in-law, Lonnie ANDERSON and wife Barbara of Gilmer. She was predeceased by her husband, parents, two sisters, Lucille GUILLET and Jeanne DUGAR, and her brother, John LEZE. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Warren Meadows Funeral Home chapel in Many. Interment will follow at Fisher Cemetery in Fisher, Lousiana. Services are under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

Rosalie married Simon Elton "Pete" Anderson on 30 Dec 1933 in Nacogdoches, Nacogdoches County, Texas. Simon (son of Ernest Lafitte Anderson and Ara Josephine Clark) was born on 3 Nov 1908 in Hemphill, Sabine County, Texas; died on 28 Feb 2006 in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas.
