RAVENNA - Leona Lockhorn, 90, of Ravenna died Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at Good Samaritan Center in Ravenna. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Ravenna. The Rev. Martin Egging will officiate. Burial will be in the Highland Park Cemetery in Ravenna. Wake services will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the church. Rasmussen Funeral Home in Ravenna is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lockhorn was born Nov. 29, 1919, in Rockville to Karl and Frieda (Jaeschke) Jakob. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lockhorn. Survivors of the immediate family include three daughters and sons-in-law, Fayrene and Myron Hamouz, Lucille and Frank Schultz and Janice and Kirk Vifquain; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Patricia Lockhorn. Additional survivors include grandchildren, Michelle Hamouz, Mark Schultz, Sherry Schultz, Scott Lockhorn, Amy King and husband, Sean Casey, David Vifquain and wife, Gina and Aubrey Vifquain and fiance, Robert Novotny, great-granddaughter, Lydia King, sisters-in-law, Rose Jakob and Rosanda Schroll, nieces and nephews.

She married Edward Lockhorn on April 29, 1941, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ravenna. They made their home on a farm northeast of Ravenna. She worked as a cook at Ravenna Public Schools.
