  1. 4.  Lumir Dale Tachovsky was born on 7 May 1948 in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska; died on 17 Jul 2022 in Crete, Saline County, Nebraska.

    Notes:

    Lumir Dale Tachovsky, "Huggie" age 74, the son of Lumir and Georgie (Krajnik) Tachovsky was born on May 7, 1948, in Lincoln, Nebraska and passed away on July 17, 2022, in Crete, Nebraska.
    He attended Wilber Public Schools and graduated from Wilber High School with the Class of 1966. On January 28, 1967, he was united in marriage to Kathy Mundil in Wilber, Nebraska. The couple made their home in Wilber for ten years moving to a farm near Western where he lived until his death. He worked at Wilber Plumbing & Heating for his father-in-law, EJ Mundil for many years and later become the owner of the business.
    He was a member of Masonic Lodge, Wilber-Clatonia Alumni Band and the Sons of American Legion.
    He is survived by his wife, Kathy of Western, son, Mark and wife Beth Tachovsky, daughters, Kris Filipi and special friend Darren and Amy Morris. Also surviving him are his grandchildren, Derek and Alexis Tachovsky, Justin Filipi, Emma Fletcher and Ruby Morris and his mother-in-law, Chloe Mundil.
    He is preceded in death by his father Lumir Tachovsky and his mother and stepfather, Georgie and John Lisec.
    A graveside service will the held at the Wilber Czech Cemetery on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. Memorials to the Western Fire and Rescue Department. Arrangements entrusted to Kuncl Funeral Home, Wilber, Nebraska.

  1. 12.  Albert Filipi was born on 25 Apr 1900 in Western, Saline County, Nebraska (son of Joseph Filipi and Katerina "Katy" Pribyl); died on 12 May 1973 in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska.

    Notes:

    Albert was the son of Joseph and Kathryn (PRIBYL) FILIPI. The family consisted of Richard, Mary who married Paul Strate, Joe, Frank, Emma who married Joe Zumpfe, Fred Albert, Henry, Ludvik, Jerry and one brother and sister who died at birth. He attended Busy Bee School, located between Milligan and Western, throught he 8th grade. He then helped his father on the farm (Milligan, p 268).

    Albert married Rosie Zenisek on 20 Feb 1923 in Wilber, Saline County, Nebraska. Rosie (daughter of Joseph F. Zenisek and Emma Radil) was born on 11 Jun 1902. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Notes:

    The daughter of Joseph F. and Emma (RADIL) ZENISEK of Tobias. Her family consisted of Georgia, who married Jess ZADE (Aug 25, 1906-Jun 18, 1984); and Vencil Joseph born 18 February 1912, and died July 25, 1979. (Milligan, p 268). After Albert passed away, Rosie resided in Dorchester and continued to enjoy making quilts for her family, which consisted of 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

    After their marriage at the Wilber Court House, they resided near Tobias on the Joseph Zenisek farm. In 1929, they purchased the William Neel farm in the NW 1/4 of Section 23, Atlanta Township. (Milligan, p 268).

    The 2008 Milligan History Book shows him as a son of of John and Bessie Pracheil Luksik.
