Her FindAGrave memorial page links her to her parents, Julius George Cross (1850-1931) and Olive Lenora Davis Cross (1848-1934) as well as to numerous siblings. That page shows she was born Georgia. The 1930 census instead shows she was born in Alabama, with both of her parents born in Georgia. Her sister, Sue C Cross, age 39 and single, was living with Maude and Julian on the 1930 Dallas County, Texas census. Sue also reported Alabama as her location of birth, and was working as a seamtress.

Family/Spouse: Julian Frank Haden. Julian (son of Ferdinand Dreer Haden and Minnie McLemore) was born on 9 Jan 1891 in Timpson, Shelby County, Texas; died on 12 Oct 1971 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas; was buried in Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.
