She attended the Windsor School in Omaha. Her parents retired in a little house next door to Anna and Bohumil. (Milligan, p 247).

Married:
After their marriage they farmed near Milligan for a few years before moving into town, where Bob was in the oil and fuel delivery business. (Milligan, p 224).

The daughter of Frank and Marie Vlcek. Marie was always busy making crochered rugs or feather blankets, often stripping the down from feathers in the evenings while her husband sat in his rocker reading "Hlasatel" by the light of a kerosene lamp (Milligan, p 247).
