The Minnesota Birth Index shows that his Mother's Maiden Name was SEEMAN. In 1940, Clarence and his wife, Coma Pearl were living in Trenton, Tennessee with her parents, Perry and Thurzer McLemore. His residence five years prior was listed as Fairbold, Minnesota. His occupation was "truck driver" which was the same occupation reported by his father-in-law and one of this brother-in-laws, James.

Clarence was the son of Henry John Haugh and Caroline (Seemann) Haugh of Minneapolis, Minn. His mother died in 1928 and Clarence left home at the age of 16 shortly after his father died in 1934.

He worked in a carnival where he met his wife, Coma McLemore in Texarkana, Ark. They were married within 24 hours of meeting and he moved to her hometown in Trenton, Tenn. They moved to Chicago in the mid 1940's where Clarence went to work for the Illinois Central Railroad. He worked there until his death in 1957.

He is survived by his wife, Coma, his daughters Carolyn and Polly, 4 brothers (Fritz, George, Floyd and Arnold) and 2 sisters (Katherine and Loretta).

Clarence married Coma Pearl McLemore in Sep 1939 in Arkansas. Coma (daughter of James Perry McLemore and Thurzer Barker) was born on 2 Mar 1921 in Trenton, Gibson County, Tennessee; died on 15 Aug 1965 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois; was buried in Mount Auburn Memorial Park, Stickney, Cook County, Illinois.
