    Funeral for Cecil Braden Smith, 81, of Decatur, will be today at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with C.Bruce White officiating.

    Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

    Mr. Smith died Tuesday at his residence. He was born Oct. 26, 1913, in Lawrence County. He was a member of the Beltline Church of Christ and a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II. He owned and operated Patterson's Men Store in the Decatur Shopping Center for 28 years.

    Survivors include his wife, Lucille Smith; one daughter, Elesia Reinhardt of Decatur; two brothers, Malcolm Smith and Duane Smith both of Decatur; and two granddaughters.

    Pallbearers will be Doug Rogers, Maurice Dutton, Billy Stephenson, John Ford, Ray Dearman, Phillip Watkins, Carl Ward, and Billy Gene Smith.
