Fay Nethery, 98, died Friday morning in the Hemphill Care Center in Hemphil, Texas after an illness.

She was born in Dike, Texas to Edward Clinton and Mable Blanche Connor Williamson. She was a retired Licensed Vocational Nurse. Fay was a resident of Milam, Texas for forty-two years moving from Beaumont and she was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Milam.

Mrs. Nethery is survived by two daughters, Patricia Cayce and her husband Dick of Longview, Texas and Shirley Nolan of Beaumont, Texas. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and eleven great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2pm Monday, Feb 21, 2011 in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Milam Cemetery.

Fay married Addie Oryl Nethery after 1963. Addie (son of Charles Alexander Nethery, Sr. and Amanda Fitzellen Speights) was born on 21 Aug 1901 in Sabine County, Texas; died on 25 Jul 1973 in Center, Shelby County, Texas; was buried in New Hope Cemetery, Milam, Sabine County, Texas.
