Said to be the daughter of Samuel and Texanna Jones. She is found in their home, along with four siblings, at the time of the 1910 Federal census. The family lived in Geneva, Sabine County, Texas. Her father was born in Georgia and was a farmer, her mother born in Texas. Her mother was shown as the mother of 10 children in total, nine of whom were still living as of 1930. Her headstone is inscribed "She Hath Done What She Could."
