"I am researching the ancestry of my gg grandmother, referred to by the family as Ellen McLemore , but a family member in the past in writing her name spelled it Ellender McLemore. She was born 1833-34 in Mississippi, probably Clarke County, where in about 1850 she married Allen Martin, also from Clarke Co. The Martin's eventually moved to Union Co., Arkansas sometime around 1860. I am suspicious that she could be the "Eleanor Jane McLemore" listed on some McLemore family trees, and the daughter of Amos McLemore and Elizabeth Johnston McLemore. Looking at naming patterns for her children, she named my g grandmother Elizabeth, and two more daughters Jane and Annie, and also a son - Albert. Any information is greatly appreciated."

2. Albert G. "Bud" Martin was born in Jul 1852 in Meridian, Lauderdale County, Mississippi; died on 11 Dec 1932 in Ida, Caddo Parish, Louisiana; was buried in Munnerlyn Chapel Cemetery, Ida, Caddo Parish, Louisiana.
3. Norman Martin was born about 1855 in Mississippi; and died.
4. Jane H. Martin was born about 1857 in Mississippi; and died.
5. Emmanuel Martin was born about 1859 in Mississippi; and died.
6. Annie Laura Martin was born on 18 Apr 1867 in Union Parish, Louisiana; died on 13 Nov 1890 in Louisiana; was buried in Union Cemetery, Sadie, Union Parish, Louisiana.
